Welcome to The Western Cross Community

The Western Cross is an International non for profit Organization seeking to spread across Australia and South Africa, with a shared vision, seeking to improve the lives of people in situations of homelessness, poverty and persecution.  We collect donations such as sleeping bags, backpacks, tinned food and small tents etc to gift to the homeless.  Our long term goal is to build accommodation for the homeless, where they may receive a holistic approach to the appropriate care to meet their needs.

Jason Whittaker heads up the Western Cross in Australia and is based in Perth Western Australia.  We also have many wonderful volunteers who assist us in a variety of ways.

The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:7-10
